time zippers/reflection pools, oscar glottman’s second solo exhibition, interlocks horizon lines and skies with temporal zippers. these large-scale color photographs, printed on cold-pressed cotton rag paper or carpet (using a high-definition chromojet printer), investigate glottman’s interest in relativity, time and the environment. space-time captions are zipped together to birth a third. nuanced and meticulous renditions of reality, a new space for reflection and awakening emerges. time zippers/reflection pools archives moments in human history marked by the passing of time. time zippers/reflection pools opens at the lightbox at goldman warehouse home to the miami light project, a wynwood-based performing arts and work space designed by oscar glottman. using the principles of feng shui, glottman discovered the dna of the building and turned an ordinary warehouse space into a dynamic environment that reflects the spirit of the organization.
