a pair of thin rectangular earrings with slightly irregular edges. we created this piece by starting with two veins instead of just one. as each grew, the two roots became enmeshed into a continuous network while visually maintaining their own hierarchies of primary, secondary, and tertiary veins.
the pattern was grown in our computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel.
