the drawback of milan design week, which is also a benefit, is the overwhelming display of new products. here’s part ii of what glottman discovered at the inarchi installation:

mono: rectangular marble free-standing lamp or sconce with backside high-performance LED light source. a single piece of marble with high-performance LEDs on its backside, shining indirect light through around the stone element. available in both wall sconce and free-standing lamp versions.
sasso by inarchi.
sasso: suspended luminaire or wall sconce made from marble with high-performance LED lights. created with elegance in mind, the smooth outline of this element makes it a beautiful, warm and welcoming complement to any space. the LED light source delivers a characteristic, indirect light, discreetly pointing out the mesmerizing beauty of the unique patterns. the suspended variant is available both in carrara, which delivers a matte finish, and bronze amani, which is glossy in solitary application, and matte in composition. these familiar, friendly shapes create a feeling of welcomeness and serenity in any application.

ray: three-pointed sculptural steel wall lamp with halogen lights on the backside. best showing it’s ingenious design in composition, it instantly catches the eye, enabling the creator to install unique arrangements into any space. playing with the illusions of being a 2D object in a 3D space, this subtle shift in the depth of space and the hexagonal design instantly creates the sense of systematicness.

hexan: cast, chiselled and polished bronze hexagon with high-performance LED lights. glass hexagonal frame made with traditional techniques with high-performance LED light source. painted steel frame with multiple high-performance LED lights. elegance and grandeur are the two words that instantly appear in a spectator’s mind – this element is made both with a full-face bronze body, shining with the timeless warmth of this classic material, and a frame-only appearance, in glass and steel versions, showing a minimal, ethereal face towards the world. these two fundamentally different approaches show a beautiful system of counterpoints, being able to shape the space they inhabit though contrasting appearances.
