the mell lounge, designed by markus jehs and jürgen lau, is an engrossing character: angular on the outside, round on the inside, and well thought-out to the last detail. this is made evident not only in the form of casual seating comfort, but also by the graphic progression of the seams. in addition, the steel skids are so deviantly formed that mell almost appears to be floating. a closer look reveals that it has rounded corners – details that denote minimalist elegance. mell lounge is not just a sofa and easy chair, but also cushions and a comfort zone, connection element, footstool and table.
