what does light mean to you? two miami schools answered this question when they submitted their creations to compete in the viabizzuno contest for youth, rivaling against 250 projects from all over the world.

le petit papillon montessori school placed an outstanding seventh place in the world-wide competition, while one of the students from the international christian school of miami, marina wakil, submitted a design that was selected for production by viabizzuno. way to go miami!

designers 0 to 14 years old were invited to participate in the contest. the entries are on display at the triennale design museum in milan from feb. 11-27. selected projects will be featured in a book published by viabizzuno.

glottman would like to recognize the instructors that encouraged the students from each school. Maria Jose Tapia from Le Petit Papillon Montessori School guided her students to 7th place. Margarita Di Labio, the Italian teacher at the International Christian School of Miami, inspired her students in this competition.

We would also like to thank Gabriel Chavarria for connecting Glottman to the talented students at the International Christian School of Miami.
